Timid– when I met Nikita during our time in the university, you’ll rarely hear her voice as she doesn’t initiate conversation, but when you do, it’s probably one of the deepest voices you’ll ever hear, well, at least from a woman. She barely talks; hits you with the driest humor ever. She’ll probably pass as a weird kid who already has plans on how to kill every student she’s interacted with. Scratch that surface and you’ll get one of the nicest, sweetest, and kindest human beings you’ll ever meet. One of the things she gravitates to heavily is her fondness for cats and Anime. A red flag actually. That’s it. A cultured woman and a lover of the Arts. She has one of the most unique minds I have ever met. Her mind has that oil to keep the motor of the conversation going albeit it always ends up on a heated debate— never a dull moment. The best— I could never ask for more. People often ask me: “How do you know she’s the one? Ready ka na ba?” I do not know and I am not. But if I’ll cross the precipice of uncertainty, the leap becomes a graceful one with Nikita by my side.
